3-Day Fly-In, Fly-Out Ndutu Safari

DAY 1:FLY TO NDUTU

After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel  to Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha airport for a short charter flight to Ndutu Airstrip. On arrival at Ndutu Airstrip your guide will be waiting to meet you; you’ll transfer straight into the vehicle and begin your game drive. Ndutu is famed for its wide open plains and the wildebeest calving spectacle, where large herds and newborn calves attract predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the field surrounded by wildlife, then continue afternoon game drives to explore different areas and maximise sightings and photography opportunities. In the evening return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and rest.

DAY 2: NDUTU FULL DAY (CALVING MIGRATION)

After breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu area, which is the prime location for the spectacular Calving Migration. During this season, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather here to give birth to their young, attracting a high concentration of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive, with a picnic lunch in the field to maximize your time in the heart of the action. The open plains and woodlands of Ndutu provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and unforgettable safari experiences.

In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 3: NDUTU — FLY-OUT

Enjoy an early breakfast, then depart camp for a final en-route game drive toward Ndutu Airstrip. Your guide will stop for any last sightings and photos as you travel. On arrival at Ndutu Airstrip you will board a short charter flight to Arusha or Kilimanjaro (JRO) Airport to connect with your international flight home.

NB: Clients can connect with their onward flight to home or Zanzibar on the same day from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. If you require airport pickup, we can arrange collection from JRO or Arusha Airport for an additional fee. If you prefer to overnight in Arusha or Moshi and travel the next day, we can arrange accommodation and a next-day airport transfer at extra cost.
