DAY 1:  MKOMAZI  NATIONAL PARK  

Embark on an exhilarating one-day safari adventure, commencing with a hearty breakfast at your hotel or residence at 0600 Hours. By 0700 Hours, you’ll be picked up in Moshi with packed lunch boxes, departing for Mkomazi National Park, approximately 120 km away. Upon arrival at 1000 Hours, dive into a captivating game drive, seeking Oryx, gerenuk, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, elephant, buffalo, hartebeest, giraffe, warthog, and crocodiles. Mkomazi, sharing a border with Tsavo National Park in Kenya, offers the chance for an optional visit to Nkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, delving into the black rhino breeding program and anti-poaching initiatives.

At 1300 Hours, savor a picnic lunch at a designated site, followed by an afternoon game drive at 1400 Hours. The park, a vital refuge for black rhinos and African wild dogs, ensures their conservation and safekeeping. Depart Mkomazi at 1630 Hours, concluding your safari adventure with a return journey to Moshi or Arusha, reaching your destination by 1900 Hours, where your memorable day concludes as you’re dropped off at  Kilimanjaro Airport.

 

Meal Plan: Lunch 

The client can make a flight departing in the evening on the same day out of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or he or she can spend the night at Arusha or Moshi for extra cost so as to have the flight departing the next day out of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
