6 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari

This 6-day safari focuses on two of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations—the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Begin your journey in the Serengeti, where vast landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see and wildlife roams in abundance. Depending on the season, you may witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. Alongside this natural wonder, the Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, elusive leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and countless bird species.

DAY 1: ARRIVE AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT

Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport ,You will be met by our guide at the Airport and will pick you and transfer to the hotel in Moshi.

Accommodation: Panama Gardern Resort or similar accommodation in Moshi.

DAY 2:   CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti National Park-with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attract wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

DAY 3: CENTRAL SERENGETI TO FULL DAY

On this day you will spend your time at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Embalakai Tented Lodge or similar tented Camp in Central Serengeti.

DAY 4: CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for your final game drive in the Serengeti. We will embark on an enroute game drive through Serengeti as we make our way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, we’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You’ll have the opportunity to visit Maasai Village (at an additional cost) if you wish. Afterward, we will head to the Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER THEN DRIVE BACK TO MOSHI

Very early morning we drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 that is; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive and in the late afternoon we will head to Moshi and this will be the end of the safari.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE DAY IN TANZANIA

We will transfer you from the hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will fly back home. If you will have more time you can extend your tour to Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar, but additional cost will be required.
