6 days Tented Lodge with Balloon Safari

DAY 1:  CENTRAL SERENGETI

Early morning we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti National Park-with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

On this day expect the very long drive from Moshi to Central Serengeti, also you can opt to fly directly from Kilimanjaro Aiport or Arusha Airport to Seronera Airstrip at Serengeti but additional costs will occur.

DAY 2: BALLOON SAFARI IN SERENGETI 

On this day you will wake up early in the morning for the Balloon Safari in Serengeti National Park and after the balloon safari, you can choose to rest or spend your time at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the afternoon or evening game drives if you so wish.

DAY 3: CENTRAL SERENGETI  FULL DAY

On this day you will spend your time at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day.

DAY 4: CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after registration, you will descend to the Crater Floor. You will drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 that is; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive then in the late evening we will drive to Karatu for overnight

DAY 5: TARANGIRE  NATIONAL PARK THEN DRIVE BACK TO MOSHI

After breakfast, we will register at the gate and continue with game drives for the rest of the day as we explore the African wilderness for the last day of our safari. This park is famous for its large populations of elephants and its gigantic age-old baobabs, but it has much more to offer in terms of many animals and birds that are resident to this park. We expect to see lions, cheetahs, warthogs, gazelles, dik-diks, the rare long-necked gerenuks and many more, in the late afternoon you drive to Moshi for overnight and this will be the end of the safari.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE DAY IN TANZANIA

We will transfer you from the hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will fly back home. If you will have more time you can extend your tour to  Zanzibar, but additional costs will be required.
