This 7 Days Tanzania Safari offers an incredible journey through some of the country’s most famous national parks. Starting at Lake Manyara, known for its scenic beauty and tree-climbing lions, the adventure continues with three full days exploring the vast Serengeti—home to the Great Migration and the Big Five.
After experiencing the endless plains, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to spot a wide range of wildlife. Your final day takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. This safari is perfect for travelers looking to experience Tanzania’s diverse landscapes and rich wildlife in just one week.
Lake Manyara, a picturesque gem of a park, stands renowned for its captivating tree-climbing lions, herds of majestic elephants, and lively baboon communities. In the morning we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti National Park-with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attract wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

On this day you will spend your time at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day.

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for your final game drive in the Serengeti. We will embark on an enroute game drive through Serengeti as we make our way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, we’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You’ll have the opportunity to visit Maasai Village (at an additional cost) if you wish. Afterward, we will head to the Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Very early morning we drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 that is; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive and in the late afternoon we will head to Karatu for overnight.

After a fulfilling breakfast, our journey leads us to the magnificent Tarangire National Park. Upon gate registration, we’ll immerse ourselves in exhilarating game drives, savoring the last day of our safari amidst the African wilderness. While this park is renowned for its majestic elephants and ancient baobab trees, its treasures extend far beyond.
Anticipate thrilling encounters with a diverse range of wildlife, from the regal lions and agile cheetahs to the endearing warthogs, graceful gazelles, diminutive dik-diks, and the elusive long-necked gerenuks, among many others. As the day’s adventures draw to a close, we’ll make our way to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll catch your evening flight homeward, concluding your safari with cherished memories and a heart full of Africa’s wonders.
